magazines are a lot of fun to work on. ideally, a magazine would be produced by a team of designers. i've never been so lucky. all of the magazines i've been involved with have had a design/production staff of one. with all fairness, i would occassional get help in the photo scanning department, and i was always supplied with text and photos. however, all of the layout, department banners, photo manipulation and prepress work was done be me alone. the keeper magazines were used as game programs for the continental indoor soccer league. the r.o.d., u.s. soocer, and yamaha waverunner mags were mailed to each organization's members, as a benefit of membership.
