Dear Sam,
You have got to be one of the smartest pups on earth. Your
wisdom has served my master well! She is especially appreciative of your
view on levels of playing soccer. I am only 11 weeks old and have
enjoyed attending all my masters practices, this litter seems to have
fun, and I can hardly wait until I'm bigger and can join in! She is
coaching a girls team with another lady and they were having a good time
until now. Lately, there have been rumblings on the sidelines. The kids
are upset and confused. There is one soccer mom who coaches another
team (one of her older pups team) and she keeps trying to coach this
team too. My master and her friend tried to get her envolved thinking
that she would be too busy to cause trouble, but this has backfired.
The team now has too many "coaches", and one has a not so nice way of
telling the kids where they need to improve. Short of biting her in her
backside, or shreading her Achilles', is there anything I can do to
help? This is a pretty radical thought for me, as I am a mild mannered
Golden Retriever, but something has got to change quick before the
litter doesn't have fun any more.
Thanks for the help,
Kirby
Sorry, you're going to have to shred the Achilles.
This is a tough one. Your master asked the "demon lady" to join the coaching squad, and now she has reconsidered. It sounds like your master hates confrontation. So do I. However, she needs to keep one thing in mind... The kids on the team are more important than the struggle between the coaches. The kids are confused, and that means there are a whole lot of people that aren't having fun. She needs to address the problem immediately.
Your master and her pal should try to make the following points, in a pleasant way:
1) We have reconsidered our decision.
